Who I am
This website is run by Elisha Kaur Rai, a sole trader trading as Elisha Kaur Rai. I am the data controller for the information described below.

What I collect
If you sign up to my email list, I collect:
- Your first name
- Your email address
- The date and time you signed up, and the page you signed up from, so I have a record of your consent
My email provider also records whether you open my emails and click links in them, so I can see what people find useful.
If you email me directly, I'll have whatever you choose to tell me in that email.
Why I collect it, and my lawful basis
I use your name and email address to send you the free guide you asked for, along with mindset tools, resources, and updates about my masterclass and course.
My lawful basis is your consent. You give that consent by ticking the box on the sign-up form and confirming your email address. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.
Who else sees it
My email list is managed by Kit (Kit.com, operated by Kit Global Inc.), who process your information on my behalf under a data processing agreement. They store data outside the UK, in the United States, and this transfer is covered by the safeguards required under UK data protection law.
This website is hosted by Netlify.
I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long I keep it
I keep your details for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, I keep a minimal record of your email address so I don't accidentally email you again, and I keep my consent records for 2 years after you unsubscribe.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't set advertising or analytics cookies, and it doesn't load fonts, scripts, or trackers from third-party services. My email platform may set a cookie when you submit the sign-up form, in order to process your submission.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Ask what information I hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Have your information deleted
- Restrict or object to how I use it
- Receive your information in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time
The quickest way to withdraw consent is the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email I send. For anything else, email me at EKRenquiries@gmail.com and I'll respond within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and change the date at the top.
